Hello,
I was curious as to know if any modern studies students currently sitting higher have any predictions for the exam questions this year? I know there is no way to know for sure, however, are there certain questions I can focus less time towards and certain ones I should look at in more depth? In terms of China for example - I believe there is a fair chance the question will be on opposition to the CCP as it hasn't appeared in a while. Anyone else think this or have any other predictions? I am trying to make it easier for myself with regards to priorities and revision of my essay plans.

Thanks

Hey so my teacher said that she thinks opposition will come up for China, but she's also fairly certain the social and economic essay MIXED with lack of opposition will come up. For health and wealth, she says it MIGHT be gender and race, collectivist vs individualist or the welfare state and for america I think she said it could be the american dream essay xxx

Hey!! I was hoping that for China!! Do you know how they would mix it? Or do you think it will be either opposition or economic/social?
Thanks a lot xxx

My teacher thinks it's going to be

social class influencing voting behaviour
Backbench powers or PM powers. Maybe pressure groups
Gender and Race - Causes
Collectivism vs Individualism
CCP opposition in China or Human Rights in CHina
Immigration for the USA or maybe social and economic inequality in the form of an American dream type thing.

Hi, does anyone have a Individual vs Collectivist Essay Plan that i can use?

I use one which I got off the website of another school. It doesn't include the statistics for u, u need to put them in yourself. But it gives u an idea of what u need and how to set it out. I used it before my prelim ad got A all together x

This is the link. http://www.queenmargaret.sayr.sch.uk...ssay_plans.pdf
The Collectivist vs individualist is 2008 essay 4 x
Hope this helps and good luck for tomorrow :lep:
