Do i apply to Disabled student allowance at the same time as main aplication?

Hi i have dyspraxia and am going to apply for the DSA (Disabled Student Allowance) and i have to send a form of to student finance england to see if i quallfy for it. I have started applying for the main thing but when i get to the "Special Support Grant" part i cant see an option saying that i am able to get the DSA so do i just continue and say i have none of these and continue? Is the DSA and main student finance applied for seperatly.

When applying for special support grant, you should indicate that you are eligible for DSA.

This will trigger a request for evidence.

You can part apply for DSA through the main application. We will then follow this up with a short form for completion.
