Because there are small transmitters everywhere! Lots are hidden.

I've been told by O2 that I can only change my number if I'm being harassed

It still must need a lot of power though for a coil to make the waves in the air and it to be strong enough to go the signal especial when the frequency must be quite high probably at least 10khz.

malicious calls act: if youre being harrassed they HAVE to do it for you for free. if you just feel like a change for some reason you normally have to buy a new number - and if your netwrok are feeling stupid they might make you buy-out your entire contract to open a new account with a new number.

Because it hardly takes any energy to do that.

Do you need to prove you are being harrassed?

So the electrecity just passes through the coil and that is enough to create a vibration big enough to create wave strong enough to travel in some cases a few miles? It just fascinates me so much.

it's high frequency light, not sound.... it's not a vibration like that produced by your speakers.

back on topic then ....

i don't think i've ever seen the 7560 ... 7650 perhaps? A little big for me.
I think all new nokia phones use Shared Memory and can store vast amounts of txts.

So mobile phones use some kind of infrared transmission rather than radio frequencies?
