There doesn't seem to be a Glasto thread for this year so I thought I may as well do this one while I'm at it.

Anyone going or volunteering like myself?

What do you think of the confirmed artists so far?

I guess the exclusive to Sonisphere deal was dropped.

Yeah I know. Though they sort of tried to get round that by putting special guests I suppose haha.

Also Metallica are on paddy power if anyone wants to make an easy tenner.

I don't know why they would even hold off announcing them. Sonisphere ticket sales won't be affected by Metallica doing Glastonbury.

Fantastic set of headliners. Pixies, White, Massive Attack and Plant stand out as well. Pretty generic undercard though

Very impressed. Elbow I'm looking forward to a lot as well. Thought The National would be in there but apparently not.

Lots of good acts there, strong Pyramid stage. Loads I want to see, clashes are gonna be murder. Good set of headliners, can't wait to see Metallica but I suppose I can see why a few people are unhappy but there's so much more on it doesn't even matter.

The amount of interest they have shown in playing the festival should mean that this will be something special. I fully expect them to put on a massive show as they know they won't be playing to their own audience.

I look forward to watching it on TV. :yep:

I'll be going, although I'll be working there not volunteering/paying. I'm going to have to work 8am-8pm every day there for a week but it means I'll get to see the headliners, and I'll get paid quite a lot of money for the pleasure of doing so .

I think of that line up the artists I'll hope to see will mainly be Fatboy Slim, Skrillex, MGMT, Annie Mac, and Above and Beyond; I'd quite like to check out Chvrches and Bonobo too if I can.

Wow, that's going to be incredible, I can't wait for Arcadia on one of the nights.

I think I'll be placed all over the site.

My mate went on his own last year and he had an amazing time, don't worry about it, just make friends with people around your tent and you'll be grand

What band(s) are you most looking forward to?
