Grants & Loans for BA (Hons)

Hi,
I have just applied as a mature student to do a Top Up in Visual Arts from my Foundation Degree in Graphic Design.
At the interview the course leader suggested that I enter the BA (hons) Illustration course instead at year 2 and do that and year 3 to obtain a BA (hons) in Illustration.
I am wondering if I can still get financial help (I would have received the maximum due to my household income) as year 2 of the BA (hons) is a level 5 the same as my foundation degree. Obviously the final outcome will be a level 6 as I will have the full degree.
Please could you advise.
Many thanks

I'll take that as a no then!
Hi there,

Please accept our apologies for our delay in replying to your enquiry.

If you have only previously received funding for two academic years (the length of your Foundation Degree) you will be pleased to know you will be eligible to receive student finance for years 2 and 3 of your BA degree programme.

Thanks
