Can my housemate ban my friend from the property?

Basically one of my housemates is my ex, we broke up a year ago. The guy has never really moved on and HATES the person I am now with through jealousy and says he doesn't want him in the house and will report it I the police if he does. Is there anything he can legally do?

I very much doubt it, unless your current partner has actually done something illegal. If your ex is really mad, I guess he might make something up, although in the long term, he's more likely to be taken in for it than your partner.

No, he can't ban him from the house, and the police will tell him to get a grip if he rings them.
