www.lnat.ac.uk is the official site, with a sample paper on it.
there arent really many websites with practice papers on taht you dont have to pay for... however, if you search on amazon for "LNAT", you should find a load of books whoch have practice papers in... i used one which was very very good... it had 3-4 sample multi-choice papers and a huge range of essay questions and example answers. (cant remember the name however lol)
Er NO! LNAT Is NOT easy!!! Its actually difficult - that's the point! NO-one got full marks this year! The average was 16-17/30 i think, and remember that the people taking it are the ones applying to the best unis!
By the way - to the poster above... if you got less than enough for a crap US law school, how can you call it easy!?
LNAT is damn hard.... couldn't really order a book from amazon now cause' i am in hk n' it takes such a long time for delivery. any recommended sites that offer sample tests? i dun mind payin some money for that.
lnat wouldnt be so hard if you had more time to do it in! thats what makes it hard in my opinion! i only just finished the last question. some of the answers, i just clicked any answer just so i had an answer in case i ran out of time, thinkign i could review them later. lol.
i did the practise Lnat and got a 23/30.. i dont understand what u mean by it being so hard. btw im 15
As someone who did the real thing, the practice is a lot easier just so it is easier to udnerstand what is needed. In the first year of it, I think the average was 17/30. Bear in a mind a large percentage of that is people applying to Oxbridge with straight As! I applied to Oxford, with 5 As at A level, and got 18/30. It IS hard, and rightfully so.
Wow they are evil, lulling people into a false sense of security. Or, maybe the practice is just that, a practice, which means the questions are similar to that you will encounter in the real thing. this is what they boast on the site anyway
Well, I think it is quite obvious that they aren't. I mean practice papers are just meant to get people a slight idea of what to expect in terms of structure. That's it.
don't forget, uni's usually put a lot more store on your essay, not the multiple choice section
i didnt say it was easy .... i just didnt understand why it was being described as sooooooooooooooooo hard. anyway i guess peeps got a poitn abotu it being practice
it had alwways been my experience with practice exams in general that they are normally made harder than expected
please can someone help me right now, i have two LNAT books and have done all the sample things in there but found them to be of no use. i then took the practice test on the LNAT website but forgot to write down my answers so i have no idea how i scored. my test is tomorrow and i really need some more practice so anything that anyone could offer would be really great. thanks
I have done the practice paper and did not find it too hard, i dont think the time limit is any problem. As for preparation i have just done what they have said on the site read newspapers and magazines such as The Economist. I also read a lot generally and am currently taking A level English Lit. this i think is really helpful. My test is tommorow so fingers crossed.
Hmmm did the paper today..... multiple choice part went well, and as i thought plenty of time. The essay questions were not as nice as the ones on the practice i dont think, ended up doing one on the justification of using armed force. The time on this was not a problem but was very close i finished with about a minute spare.
