I am so sorry that someone did not answer your queries, none the less i was looking for information a couple days back on the subject as all info on this is quite dated.
however you will know how it went someone else with an upcoming interview may benefit from my experience.
ok! so firstly is the online interview you answer questions which then proceeds to a phone interview if you are accepted (Questions include personal questions which you have to choose two options too such as i am quick and decisive or i act positive to set backs)
secondly is the phone interview, they call you first to schedule a time that is best for you to then have the phone interview. bare in mind it is very likely that the person that takes the phone interview will not be at the store in which you are going to go into and are usually from the HR team.
so in my experience i was then text messaged yes that is right text messaged!! if i could reschedule my interview to two days later, which i replied was fine. So i attended and the assistant manager had to assess me as the manager was on holiday, the assistant manager also did not know the interviews were taking place on the day!. any who! the interview commenced, you had to create a presentation which lasted from 3-5 minutes. i done mine on the MEAL-PILL the other options were virtual pet and trip to mars. he did mention that the meal-pill is the more often option, not sure if its best sticking with that or not!. anyways i done that and after that came the product challenge, in which you had to find the best product for the customer, remember to listen carefully and ask appropriate questions.e.g. what are you here for today? would you like pay as you go or ay monthly? type of device they would like? what features they would want it to have? and so on and you have to find what is best from the brochure. you can be creative with this making things up there looking for your selling skills, offere free insurance with a higher priced contract or half price first 3 months something that will close the deal!
then next is the role play, its about having two rivl gyms, a member want to leave you have to stop them from leaving!
next comes the actual interview that takes about 30 minutes there is like 20 odd questions the general questions which include explain a time when you had to deal with an irate customer e.g.!
anyways i am waiting to hear back it was a very long interview lasted 4 hours and they said i will hear back in a week, i will be back hopefully with the result!!
hope ive helped!! ask any questions and i will try my best to respond! see ya btw this is for an EE store in east london
