Hey,
So I'll be studying for the BSc Biology from September onwards and I have a questions regarding how feasible it is to take modules from another faculty during the first year:

From what I understand first year biologists take only Biology '1' in the first semester and have to then supplement the remaining 40 credits with 2 modules from another subject. I'd love to do EN1003 as one of those modules (20 credits). But given that this is also a core module for English students, won't it be oversubscribed/unavailable for a Biology student? Or is there always space on these modules because of the University's broad first year system?

Any current student help much appreciated!!

I know people that are bio students and also take English. I do bio and modern history, so it is perfectly possible
