I don't even know what social construct means. I've tried to ignore it from day one; it sounds like bull****.

(0) In the present state of affairs, X is taken for granted; X appears to be inevitable.
(1) X need not have existed, or need not be at all as it is.
(2) X is quite bad as it is.
(3) We would be much better off if X were done away with, or at least radically transformed.
Letting X equal "The Dragonborn's terrible posts" and we see that sexual preference might not be a social construct, but your ****ing awful contributions are.

You're right, I went ahead and checked what the parameters are for social constructionism; they are as follows:
(0) In the present state of affairs, X is taken for granted; X appears to be inevitable.
(1) X need not have existed, or need not be at all as it is.
(2) X is quite bad as it is.
(3) We would be much better off if X were done away with, or at least radically transformed.

To what extent do you believe sexual desire and sexual preference to be biologically driven vs. socially constructed? Can one choose the object of one's desire, or is it a purely chemical reaction?
