kinda silly kinda stupid

well im bored and cant sleep,
a few weeks ago i was talking to a mate who became a male escort, why this convo popped into my head at this time i dont know, so i went onto the website he said and for something to do i filled in the application form to become an escort to see what kinda questions they asked, i was expecting about five pages of more and more personal questions.
Anyway i filled the basics name adress email addy etc etc and what i looked like. Anyway i clicked next for the third page where i was thinking ok now the real questions are going to pop up and the page said thank you for submitting we will contact you shortly.
I honestly didnt mean to send an application. What the hell do i say when they call or write me me?

Yeah, see what I would have done if it had been me, is given them fake details as well so I wouldn't be in this pickle :biggrin:

If I'm filling in forms on sites where I don't want them to have my details I pretend my name is Blah and I live on Blah Road, BlahBlahLand.

Unless you've actually started to work for them, I don't think you're under obligation to respond to anything they send you. Probably best to just tell them simply that you're not interested in working for them any more.

probably yeah thinking on it now i should have given fake details oh well at least i didnt give them any bank details

oh and from what i read yeah it paid well £55 ph

as a student i can honestly say jeebus thats good money! :P

yeah dw i get signed up to crap all the time cos im stupid on the internet, just say NO very loudly on the phone over and over they get the message. Or if there selling you something after a complimentery offer, just imply the product caused damage to yourself or someone else and u want to sue :P quickly shut up and go away- forever.

Anyway, if you don't want the job, just tell them you're not interested. If they send you letters ignore them, if they phone you say sorry you're not interested any more, and hang up. They will get plenty of applications like that. :smile:

number 1 - you gave your actual details incl address and phone number..you've literally thrown the ball in their court and just lodged there. congrats.
number 2 - when the inevitable happens (with the heartbeat racing, the fast-paced music in the background, flashing lights and the loud echoed phone ring), your "dilemma" can be resolved by two words: "no thanks"
number 3 - my advice to you personally would be to black out all the details on your credit/debit card...ya dont sound like ur average net-cynic
