Look in places where people don't normally get girls, like clubs, but look in libraries or cafes
yeah thats quite a good idea, however i hate disturbing girls in libraries in case they are working hard or busy reading etc. personally i'm a shy guy and have met a few girls in the past theres still hope for you yet mate.

Gotta' say I agree with you Frode. I used to be a pretty shy guy too, but I had to force myself to be sociable, because that's the kinda' guy I wanted to be. Now I am that guy! lol
If that's the kinda' thing you wanna do mrt84, the best thing you can do, if you don't already, is hangout/go out with some mates who aren't shy and are pretty good with women.

Shy guys have a hell of a hard time getting girls; shy girls, on the other hand, have no less success with men, than do confident girls? Why? Because men approach women, and not vice versa. I've met good looking shy guys who remain single all throughout their teens and twenties. The solution? Force yourself to be more sociable; practise makes perfect. It isn't easy, obviously, but I've overcome shyness. There's a certain saying: "You've gotta fake it, to make it", which has something in it.
Other than this? Meeting girls online is an option, for shy guys, as is alcohol; they can't be hid behind forever, obviously, but they can help with making the first move, which is the hardest bit. Shy guys face a pretty tough time, to say the least, when it comes to women, but don't give up hope; it can happen.

I would rather remain single my entire life, though, than give the girl the satisfaction of having to do ***** all and have everything come to them, because thats called Mugging yourself, and I hate the idea.
Shy guys are cute bless them and yes it has to be 50-50 obviously otherwise you'll remain unhappy.
