1-0 Mexico.
Mexico jus completly shut Brazil out.

Mexico also scored a penalty, but it had to be retaken, missed it, had it retaken again and Dida saved it!
Honestly, how difficult is it to just stay outside of the big white rectangle (and the D) until the ball is struck!

Apparently they beat Brazil quite often!
Also beat 'em 1-0 in their Continental competition final to qualify for the Confederations Cup. And also unbeaten in 20!

So don't Mexico play in the North American competition? Is there a North American competition? That is an impressive record. They're ranked 6th in the world. Just above us, but it's very close

I'm not sure, I presume they don't as they won the Copa Oro in 2003.

Is there a North American competition? If Mexico aren't in it, there doesn't seem to be much point. America would win it every time

Ouch. Brazil always seem to do this though play particularly ***** in smaller international competitions and games (particularly those against South American teams) making us all doubt and underestimate them. And then are truely immense in the world cup. They did this before the last world cup, where I can't think of a South American team that they played in smaller international competitions like the Copa America couldn't put their hand up and say "we've beaten...or given Brazil a run for their money"...Brazil are the grand pretenders man!

Strangely, South Africa are in the Gold Cup
and Colombia. I guess they don't want Mexico and USA to dominate

up to 3 teams are invited to play in the gold cup this year they were Columbia and South Africa.

Mexico are ranked highly because they reach every major competition, plus the fact they are actually quite good.
