I don't see Figo coming. It'd be on a free, but we don't have that sort of money for wages lying around - we're already breaking our backs for Gerrard. We're not Chelsea, y'know.

In all honesty, I wouldn't mind Crocuh coming, I reckon he could do a job for us. He could be turned into a very useful player, and is nothing like what we've already got. How do you feel about Zenden signing, btw? In other news, Carragher, Hamann and Traore have all signed extended contracts. Huzzah!
i dont understand how zenden will fit into the liverpool attack- wot position does he play? i think figo will probably go to spurs, but i think crouch will be a good signing for any team. i think arsenal need a striker like crouch.

Zenden plays down the middle or wide right, he's quite versatile. That's a big reason why we snapped him up on a free. His versatility makes him a very useful player for us, especially as Biscan has been released.

i think hes not an ideal replacement for biscan, but you got on him on a free, so you wont be at a loss. how many years has he signed for?

He's not really bought as a replacement for Biscan. As defensive midfielders are concerned, we already have Didi and Welsh is coming through the ranks. Bolo just adds depth to our midfield, and more options. He hasn't got me excited by the prospect, but he's a useful player and is proven in the Premiership. Not too sure about the conditions of his contract tbh.

Zenden is a quality player! Always well keen and likes to be involved in play! He's the kinda player that can lift a whole team! Good signing imo! As you said he adds good depth to your midfield and would probably be used in rotation.

They all say exactly the same thing - all based on the article from the Liverpool Echo.

Zenden can play central midfield or down the left, not right. As someone said, ideal replacement for Igor or Vladi.

Hmm bringing Crespo back - I'm not sure it's the best move. Mourinho obviously believes that Crespo is now a much improved player, but imo, he probably doesn't suit the premiership game?

He scored 10 league goals in 18 games (13 starts). It was Ranieri's fault for not playing him regularly enough.

11 goals in 17 games. Not as bad as people make out though.
