maybe those teams were in the English Leagues before the Welsh League was established and so they remained there

A few days after that was first posted on the Guardian website, the Sun ran a similar article in the paper, where people e-mail in their designs. One sneaky bugger e-mailed all the designs from the Guardian website. The Sun, thinking that they had a particularly creative and reader joining in, unwittingly published them.

It was considered a good result for TNS when they only lost 2-0 to Man City at home in a UEFA Cup qualifier a couple of years ago. They were completely outclassed in the other leg, losing 5-0.
I'd be surprised if we only scored one in the game. I'd be surprised if they did score one. I'm not saying it won't happen, i just think it's unlikely.
I'll go for 3-0 in the first game.
 Who said that?!?!
Oh, it was me. Yesterday!
What was the score tonight then?

And there was me thinking the deal was dead. Still probably only a slim chance tho. What a cool name, "Butragueno".

So What's So Special About The Toffees...
...Only Everton could make a hero out of Big Dunc.
Jimmy Mac

...1) The fact that their fans are so blinkered, that they think that one fourth-place finish in 20 years qualifies them as the 'best team in Merseyside'.

2) That gorgeous pink away kit they had in their centenary year ("it wasn't pink, it was salmon" - well, what colour are salmon?)

3) That's it.
Jarrod Lythgoe

...Everton are a truly very special club.

They are the only professional club to boast the honor of being from the same city as the greatest club in the world. And they are the only other team to play in the greatest football cathedral in the world, Anfield.
Saifedean Ammous, Ramallah, Palestine

...They have the immense luck to be the closest football club (geographically) to the five-times winners of the European Cup, and record holders of the most top-flight division championships. Maybe one day it might rub off on them, but in the meantime at least they can bathe in the warm glow coming from Anfield. They can come and look at our nice shiny cups too if they want. That's all pretty special if you ask me. Oh and minty toffee sweets, they're special too.
Steve Mahoney

3 things I'll remember about that game:

- Nando missing many a chance.
- Carragher gliding and tricking his way past the TNS defense (teehehehe)
- Cisse going for the old 'hit and run', and raping the TNS left side with his pace.

Predictions for next week's scoreline and teamsheet?

I'm quite surprised that Vieira's finally leaving, and that Arsenal seem to want him to. Do they already have a natural replacement for him? Why do they want to get rid of Pires too?
