I dont read the UFT either! I reckon SWP moving to Chelsea is a bad move, as looking at their current squad hes hardly going to play, rot on the bench for 2 seasons then move to somewhere like Charlton or Blackburn.

yes i can't see him beating robben, duff, lampard, cole, maybe essien etc into the first team squad. he will have to settle for a substitute role and he will become fed up with it, and move to a wannabe good club such as newcastle or spurs.

Just think, all those crosses from zenden, gonzales and figo
If you expect Zenden to get any crosses in that are anywhere near head height then you'll be disappointed.

He did very well against Leverkusen. Drew two defenders towards him before floating the ball in at head height which a bigger player than Le Tallec might have had. I like the way that he's very forceful with the game. He's all about taking the ball and attacking with it - not stationary in defense, or creating gaps by staying up front. I reckon him and Riise could make a good pairing on the left, at least until Gonzalez recovers.

Hmm....we'll see what you think in a few months.

In other news, The Netherlands Police Force can finally rest at ease. No longer will they be cited as the biggest touring scalps of the Vancouver Whitecaps.

When Sunderland became the first major overseas opponents to lose an exhibition match to the Canadian club in the post-NASL era on Saturday evening, it sparked serious celebrations among the British Columbia soccer fraternity...

very true. It's going to be a waste of good talent if he does spend his career on the bench, leaving the England team... Nowhere...

Who do ya think Man City will buy with this extra cash they have lying around?

Mounir El Hamadoui - could be a nice little player for us.

Take a look at this beautiful piece of skill.

He's not worth that much, then again nor is SWP and many other players. If Essien is that determined he will refuse to sign any further contracts and go on a free for us. So Lyon in the end could sell him to get as much for him as possible. I think he'll go for the £17m if he is sold.

He has already said he doesnt want to play for them. Seems silly that they are increasing their bid
