I checked BBC Sport and there's nothing on Mourinho not being able to walk on water. It's okay, it looks like they were just winding you up.

Do they mention whether Abramovich has coughed up the dough to have Mourinho's ego deflated? Or will they make do with widening the door frames?

That's because you haven't, apparently. You need to wait a few hours until it kicks in or pm Andy, Rich or pig.

Yes.

Extensive rebuilding work will need to take place at Stamford Bridge before the season starts. After a series of embarrassing mishaps involving doorways at the home of Chelsea Football Club and Mr Mourinho's hugely inflated ego. The problems seem to occur as the Chelsea manager naively tries to fit his ego through one of the doorways. It becomes stuck and remains so until Peter Kenyon returns with the tub of lard needed to grease it free. The building work will involve widening all of the doorways at the stadium by at least four feet, allowing for a further two feet of expansion. The club are also in negotiations with all the other clubs that Chelsea may encounter this season to allow them to widen the necessary doorways at their stadiums as well.
On related news, billionaire Chelsea FC owner, Roman Abramovich will buy the Good Year tyre company. It is thought he will use the blimp to help Mourinho to carry his ego around. Critics say that it will be a waste of money, since the Good Year blimp is not capable of carrying such a wait

Ah, gotcha... :p:
... well, there isn't much to it. Just an extra forum, no rep-cloaking etc. I won't resubscribe this month, but I'm on holiday for a fortnight anyway.

Fingers crossed for the Community Shield, eh?

The Shield itself is worthless, but it'd be nice to give Mourinho something else to whinge about.

You should be alright, I suppose, but there are a few cracks in your team. You've got some quality players coming through, and everything will return to it's natural order in a few years! Hopefully, while you lot are in transition and ManUSA decline, 'Pool will close the gap on last year.

We have cracks all over atm if I'm honest, defence weak, admittently better than at the end of last season with Sol back. Midfield is not that bad admittently as I believe we were still right to sell Vieria, and we have lots of talent in upcoming years that will fill and probably better his gap. Attacking wise its Henry and Van Persie all the way for me... Reyes can **** off where he came from or the Bernbeau whichever costs less via easy-jet one-way ticket...Lazy so and so.. this season I may boo he's ever touch.

I was quite scared by 'Pools performance on Tuesday... they didnt show anything until stevie came on

Keep Reyes! He's brilliant. He may be lazy, i don't know, but he's undoubtedly class.

Yeah, but it's not like we were challenged defensively in that time either. It must be difficult to lift yourself for a game that you're expected to win, when you already have a two goal lead from the first leg. Actually, it was when Lord Cisse came on, then a bit more again when Gerrard joined him. Gerrard and Cisse were the most lively players, but they had been sitting and watching the most dire game ever. They were looking in from the outside for about 70 mins being bored out of their skulls, they knew they had to do something while everyone else was coasting.
