Are you taking bets on who it will be first?? *runs to go find odds. :p:
Mourinho will notice first. SAF will just join in like last time and say, "I agree with Jose Mourinho".

Tbh, I've always found Arsenal manage to get a pretty good bargain in these things. However, we always manage to **** things up somewhere along the lines, and then scrape through.
I have a feeling Arsenal may do well this year - i dont think theyl win it but i dont think theyl carry on the Arsenal tradition of being really pants and going out with a squeek.

Oh they wont lose 5-0 by any stretch of the imagination but Man U should win both legs without too much bother. Ive never seen Man U draw a group where its remotely concievable that they might not be in the top two.
That's cus they're always a top seed.
Pot 3 and 4 teams are never really that good apart from the odd exceptions.

Of all the ****ing luck - bad enough being beaten 5-0 by that shower but now having to watch the huns give them a going over as well =/ Any idea how strong Porto are this year? I think second place is well within your grasp.
i think we could beat artmedia home and away...mcleish will carefully study celtics "efforts"

inter will probably walk the group...

porto are the key...i think they are beatable at home...away could be hard.

I will definately be watching Blues News tonight. Can't wait to see what he says.

On another note, I hope the Pool don't go through. I don't want copy of last year.

Out of all the ENglish teams who do you think has the trickiest?
Liverpool/Chelsea, obviously.
I think they should both pull through, but Betis will be a handful.

In theory, Arsenal should come first, with Ajax close behind (don't know what to make of FC Thun, but I'm assuming they're not very good).

Utd should come first as well. I'd expect Villareal to put up a challenge, but after seeing that Everton could get on top of them, you'd think Utd should definitely be able to do the same. Not sure what to make of Lille and Benfica though.

Agreed on Artmedia and Inter - though i think Rangers could do well at Ibrox. Porto are certainly beatable. The key is beating Artmedia away as well as home imo - Celtic failed every year because of their inability to beat the ***** teams in the away leg.

I don't care if they go through as long is it's not at the expesne of Chelsea or harm us in anyway, same goes to Arsenal too. There won't be a copy of last year - Chelsea have strengthened and plus if we both go through we won't face each other in the last 16 at least anyway.

I feel the only team Chelsea have to watch is Liverpool, the rest will suite Chelsea's style of football with the players we have.

True. Its almost endearingly scottish the way Arsenal seem to do quite well at first then always lose out in the last game.
