Five in the frame to be Spurs manager - and Carlos Queiroz heads the list, apparently in talks with Spurs over the position.

Martin O'Neil, Martin Jol, Claudio Ranieri and Vincente Del Bosque are also in the frame for the job.

He isn't qualified, and we need a manager with experience to turn this team around.

ok looks certain that mourinho is chelseas new manager now. I have hope, he seems like a disciplined and strict manager, should do good to the team

Well, he won some European trophy, which I think is quite a good one to win, so he should do well.

Oh yes, thats it - its called the Champions League!

Chelsea will be even closer to Arsenal next season - if not overtaking them for the title.

The problem for Mourinho is that everyone will have such high expectations of him that he will have to win either the Premiership or CL again to live up to all the hype. And if he doesn't meet them expectations, then he will bloody regret not celebrating winning the CL - I mean how often do them type of occassions come along (only time will tell though).

Spurs, Roma or even the Italian country manager's job.

So not liverpool?
But i'd say Roma's probaby the favourite at the moment, although before i did think he'd stay in the premiership.

Talk of him going to Roma actually goes back a few months, when the possibility of him exchanging jobs with Capello was discussed, so I think this is most likely.

Yeah, but capello's the juve manager now, so i thought, until recently, that idea had been scrapped.

But Capello isn't going to Chelsea though.

Maybe he'll go to Porto instead.

It is possible Liverpool may look into Ranieri, however Benitez looks the most likely candidate for the job.

I know Capello isn't going to Chelsea . My point was that the option of Ranieri going to Roma is one that has been considered, and been attractive to, both parties for quite a while now, so this is his most likely destination. I don't see why Liverpool would go for him at all.
