To be honest, a steady mid-table wouldn't be a disaster for you, it's just last seasons feat has raised everyones expectations to unrealistic levels and moyes seems to have the club going the right way in the long term as proved by bringing in Silly Billy Philly :smile:

Yea would be ok, we're not naive enough to believe we'll get 4th this time around. So many teams have improved a lot this summer; even teams like Fulham/Portsmouth/Villa/Spurs/Charlton/Boro are going to be challenging us for a higher end of the top half place this year.
We're never going to get anywhere unless we can gain european football for a good few seasons on the bounce though, and I don't think 6th place is too optimistic for us! :smile:
