the bercamp goal was sweet. getting through the defence, being knocked down getting up and scoring.
Why does he have to leave next year
It now officially my birthday, I've just officially turned 20 (yes, I am now an old cow),
PS I'm older than you.
Just seen the Van Persie incident and quite frankly im appaled. The decision was even worse than yesterday to give Chelsea a free-kick when Duff fell over.
And goodluck to all teams playing tonight (including everton!)
Oh yes. I wish all British and Irish sides in the UEFA Cup the very best.
EDIT: now it's 4-1
Make that 5-1.
Boro are 2 nil up and Hibs have drawn and bolton have equalised!!!
Sorry but tonight is a joke i'd sell each and every one of them tonight, absolutely useless, no closing down and nothing going up front. If we even score 1 goal in the 2nd leg we'll be lucky, embarassing performance drop the whole bloody team next game because tonight was ****ing shocking.
perhaps moyes can do a revival like with celtic in there qualifier, only to go one further and go through
I think quite a lot of premiership teams give the opposition to much space and never close them down, that's why they always get kicked out (apart from pool!!!). We lost against AC Milan due to this and evidently Everton lost today due to that.
As for us, it's not necessarily about 'closing down' as such - more about compacting, defending and attacking as a unit, versatility, tactics, and passion. That's more a winning formula than a team of Galacticos/Goldenballs' will ever be.
