oh oh no one commented on the red card
get ur vocal chords ready to sing "is this the way to hammer villa"
Hang on! Does that mean Carlsberg owns Chang? The irony
Ah, two things I've found quite common with Spanish sides in Europe. Firstly, they imitate an injury more than other countries' counterparts or exaggerate the physical harm done. Secondly, they tend to go down easier than a prostitute. Celtic experienced this and so did Everton too I might add.
They also experienced it against a Portuguese side managed by Jose Mourinho
Yes they did.
7 Dec 04 Porto 2-1 Chelsea
23 Feb 05 Barcelona 2-1 Chelsea
12 Apr 05 Bayern Munich 3-2 Chelsea
3 May 05 Liverpool 1-0 Chelsea
28 Sep 05 Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea
1 Nov 05 Real Betis 1-0 Chelsea
Five losses and a draw, four straight defeats outside of England! Surely Chelsea will never win the Champions League with this shocking form!
From what I saw (as I was at the LSE today) it was pretty bad. I know I'm hardly neutral but you won't come across that many of my posts regarding Chelsea being the victim of dives.
what uni u go to mate? u always seem to be at a different branch of the UoL
I don't hang around Goldsmiths College as you can probably tell plus the library there is small. So for my course textbooks I will see if other UoL libraries have them and use them there since it's only a 10 minute walk away and not (effectively) an hour tube.
wheres dv to help me celebrate chelseas loss? i feel so alone...
I'd love to join you in your celebrations but i'd rather wait till after todays match. my teacher 'kindly' reminded me that we shouldn't laugh at others misfortunes
I didn't watch the Chelsea game, was it a poor performance that cost them the game or would the ball just not go into the back of the net?
Both! And it was only 1-0 and a soft goal. Other sides, if they played like Chelsea yesterday, would have got a hammering, including Man Utd themselves.
