chelsea got about 10 1-0 wins if i can remember last season, were they not on form?
13 for Chelsea last season, 10 was Birmingham IIRC. The ability to win, even only 1-0, when playing far from your best is a sign of champions.

But they arnt in top form are they, Lampard is off the mark and he is Chelseas best player, as are many others. If they were in form they wud be beating teams convincingly. Everton were scraping 1-0 wins last season and u cant say that they were in form cos they wernt.
He played what was it 164 games consecutively (the amount may be a little off I cant remember). Has any other player come close to that amount of games in a row?

We all have our off days and he can't be perfect all the time. Having said that he missed one match through illness and was back again on Sat.

I wouldn't say he is the best, just one of in a cluch that Chelsea are fortunate to have at their disposal.

Lampard record, Gallas milestone
Thursday, Nov 24, 2005
Frank Lampard is set to break the Premiership record for consecutive games at Portsmouth on Saturday while William Gallas can become the sixth Chelsea overseas player to make 200 appearances for the club.

Frank is due to play his 160th consecutive Premiership game, thus breaking David James’ record. William will follow Gianfranco Zola, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Marcel Desailly, Dan Petrescu and Frank Lebœuf to 200 games.

Both joined in the summer of 2001, Frank for £11m from West Ham and William for £6.2m from Marseille, and both have since become regular internationals.

answer says... liverpool have conceeded one less in three less games in the prem. and if it was not for the 4-1 pummeling earlier, we'd not have conceded any at anfield, and be on 5 goals conceded compared to chelskis 9. what does that tell you?
