no he was fantastic, but keepers are letting in goals that should be saved. they are either in wrong positions or being clowns and making mistakes.
petr cech has only conceded one so far
nemi is also a very good keeper IMO

"Oooh, look - there's Trevor Sinclair - wouldn't it be simply dreadful if I kicked the ball right at him now, just 2 yards away from my own goal......"

his kicking has always been dreadful, charlton fans close their eyes when the ball is rolling to him and he has to kick it.

Schwarzer used to be like that, but he must have spent all pre season the other year practising it because he's now erradicated that particular weakness from his game. When he (Schwarzer) is on the top of his game there is honestly no better in the world. Just a shame he's hardly ever on the top of his game....

I could, in general, but when he's in the mood he is literally unbeatable.

Best keepers in the league, IMO:
1.Cech
2. Cudicini
3. Given
4. Friedel
5. Niemi
6. Schwarzer
7. Jaaskelainen
8. Howard
9. Kirkland
10. Sorensen

Yes I know.

Your lack of talent spotting has come to the fore of this conversation.

He is a good keeper, may be put him ahead of the fairly inexperienced Kirkland, who is highly rated yet has hardly played for Liverpool, but I'm sure he'll get regular action ahead of Dudek at some point.

No, because Australia have never been to the World Cup (recently).

Is Kiely his country's consistent first choice?
