I think he'd enjoy Italian food more. And Spanish food. And Indian food. And Chinese food. You get the picture.
I think he's fine with Mr Kipling's cakes

He's hardly in tip-top condition. Just like Ronaldo. i bet he's still recovering from injury after the 98 world cup. lol.

Odd that Rooney gets more football for England than he does for Everton. .
I can see where England's problems may lie...

I'd start with Rooney/Smith and Defoe...
I'd force Shearer out of retirement (gun to the head job  ) and play defoe off him.

If England need to get some old 35 year old out of retirement to play for them, then how on earth can you honestly expect England to win anything or even get to a final? A semi even.

England's problems lie in the fact that they lack top quality players.

Probably not that as much as the lack of continuity and a nucleus in the side. All them bulk substitutions make for uncertainty and short-termism. To hell with Sven Eriksson.

Exactly! Rooney being one of their best strikers and he can't even get a game in a team like Everton!

Of course he can get a game for Everton, don't be stupid. Moyes is just keen to protect him from burnout. This could have been Owen's problem, too many matches and too much expectation on him at a young age to deliver.

A most overrated person indeed. Most of his job seems to entail watching prem matches with his missus for free.
HAHAHA, yes, and his excuse is "scouting for potential call-ups" etc. LOL.

Well when he was first hired some of the media made him a messiah of the English game without at all noticing his earlier success came from profligate spending which obviously does not suit a first national role.

His record is still good.
If he does well in Euro 2004 (which i expect, hoping for a win) let him stay.
If they do not progress, to hell with him, mwhahaha. (but not to Chelsea)

The nucleus (lol) is what Sheared provided to the team. Unlike Mr Beck person
