yes it was excellent indeed, but if it had been a better striker ie jason euell, then i dont think king would of had a chance.

defoe looked lively, Davies looked good, defender Nebet? looked annyoed.

Norwich were unlucky not to win
But we were unlucky not to win too.

If Naybet was annoyed, it might have been that we weren't scoring, or that he was having to do a bit of work himself!

When we beat Everton and you lose to whoever you play next we'll go above you in the league. Which is nice.

(obviously that was aimed at theaman because we're aready above Charlton (naturally))

At the moment, it doesn't look like Clive Woodward will be coaching at any particular club, but he is interested, though.

Pretty pleased with this weekend's football results

One gripe though is the lack of exciting live football this weekend. Two 0-0 draws in the premiership and the championship game was pretty boring too until the end (which I missed). La Liga wasn't much better ,either. Chelsea will not be televised much in the latter half of the season if they keep up their current .. methods. I guess Mourhino knows what's expected of him, and that's to win, not to play pretty football. Shame, too, when you consider the possibilities Chelsea have with all that money to create a wonderful attacking side.

Man United are always a good watch because you never know how they're going to do these days, and some of their errors are rather comical.

Arsenal are always a good watch because they're absolutely brilliant (although I do support man united over arsenal, I can't deny that arsenal are better).

How do you know? If Arsnal for some reason started drawing more often and Chelsea caught up points wise things could change easily. Not saying that will happen, but it is a possibility.

Drogaba's yellow card has now been rescinded, Gary Neville is out for a month through injury, and Man City have dismissed rumours about Kevn Keegan leaving the club.

And Ronny Johnsen could be Jonathan Woodgate's replacement at Newcastle!

Those are today's main football stories!

That's what happens when they abandon the tried and tested formula of screening Man Utd games.
