Boston 1-4 Fulham

The match was won early on last night. Fulham simply outclassed us in the first half - it may not have been their first team, but it was hardly weak with Malbranque, Boa Morte, Radzinski, Goma and McBride in the starting XI.

With three attack-minded midfielders in the middle of the park for us, we left our defence exposed. Dean West made his debut, but was too slow to react to challenges - and you could tell he'd come from Lincoln because as soon as he got the ball he looked up and hit it long. It didn't help that our keeper had a bit of a 'mare either.

At the end of the day, they were a class above, but if we'd played as we did in the second half - getting stuck in and not letting them play their game - then we'd have given them a challenge tonight. As it was, we were outplayed and Fulham deserved a comfortable win.

But at least we can take something out of the match - we scored against a Premiership side!

good news would be 2 good defenders and a keeper that can catch

keeper- i agree on (although we haven't really tried out that almunia fella)
defenders- we have campbell and toure as a starting line-up central pairing...we definetely need some cover, as cygan has proved incapable of doing the job....i would also like cover/replacement for lauren....clichy is good enough to cover for cole

Yeah really looking forward to that!
Man Utd will end Spurs' unbeaten start to the season.
