Bridge
I think the left should be an attacker/winger, but Bridge is more like a midfielder/defender at Chelsea. As a midfielder, i think you should be pretty good at shooting, Im not sure Bridge is that great at this tho.

in that case, shaun wright phillips.

but england already have a good attacking dimension from becks, lamps, defoe, rooney, owen. no doubt Bridge would attack and defend, and i think he would be able to bury any chances he gets, and i'm sure Arsenal fans can vouch for that

I thought that he played well, esp his team play, unlike Rooney's team play, which at times was nowhere.
Rooney played waay better than Owen!
His team play was pretty good aswell!
Many a fine pass!

(Original post by Xenon)
for example where he should have squared the ball when 3 players were in the box. Boy, wre they annoyed.
For example!
That was pretty much the only example!

The one problem with the kid (though can't really say that since he's only a year younger than me) is that he is quite often very selfish.
I think, for a striker, that isn't a problem!

(Original post by Xenon)
His play is good, but sometimes, you have to pass.
I think Rooney passes it quite a bit, does some really nice passes aswell!

Owen was unlucky today. Hopefully he will score on wednesday. From today's performance, he deserves it.

lol no. For Wednesday I'd say Bridge.

Cole/Bridge usually do well. Butt, Lampard in the middle with Wright-Phillips wide on the right I suppose. Owen, Rooney up front.

Glad to see Robinson too.
