We'll see how this race develops when Arsenal have Sol back and Chelsea have Drogba back shall we?
Arsenal vs Chelsea relatively soon!

...At least one of those teams will drop points. =)

I'd only make you favourites vs blackburn and even then it's a tough game away from home.

9+ pts would be very unlikely, more like 5-6.
How can you say that (?!)... tut tut tut

Ah, it'll be wonderful when people start taking us seriously..

For those who haven't already realised; the start of the season is over, this is no longer a 'flash in the pan', a 'early season flurry' or a 'lucky run'. At the moment the only teams I wouldn't fancy us against are the top two.. obviously.

Anyway anyway anyway I think we've established we're up there on performance and not luck.

Oh, and we didn't say we'd be where we are. We didn't say that we're gonna win the league, get in the champions league or even get into europe. So, while this lasts (and I believe it will) we will enjoy it.

Something tells me we'll be getting used to this in years to come

Another pleasant Saturday night sleep awaits me, Goodnight

That will be the most likely time that they will. It won't last.

Shame because if it wasn't for the sloppy ending, Chelsea could have extended their lead...
Chelsea just got lazy I hate to say!

Chelsea play Arsenal 12th Dec  and then Everton in Feb, dont play Man Utd for a long while yet.
I really think this year the title race is an open one for a change and there is no clear leader. I know Chelsea are at the top and god would I love them to be there at the end, but it could change. Everton aren't doing that bad.

Well perhaps this draw would have a better impact in the long future. So although Chelsea drop two more potential points, had they not have drawn in that game, they could have dropped more points in the future. Hopefully Drogba will be back for the Arsenal game

Why?
Because this is a pretty decent thread and being the eight thousand five handred and FIRST post is quite funky. Maybe I'm just too tired after a whole day out?

What, that Newcastle are absolutely awful? They are..

Crystal Palace being a very poor team? They are! By far in the bottom three worst teams in the league!

Bramble, Bernard, Dyer, Bowyer, Robert, Bellamy, Kluivert are all players who could offer so much but fail to deliver. I don't see Newcastle as a top class side, their best player (apart from the obvious choice in Shearer) is probably Nicky Butt, and he's new..
I can't see Newcastle finishing in the top 6/7 this year..
