Top signing for Everton (I'd have chosen villa myself ) but he should do well there. I reckon your champions league qualification will be down to how quickly it takes him to find his feet.

Great signing! Very pleased indeed
We should sign Leighton Baines from Wigan, he will be a top top player.

I don't class Man Utd as being in the 'trio'
Why?

(Original post by afireinside©)
there is only two world class teams in the premiership.
Both in London?

Away from the Premiership; great result for Mansfield Town today over the then leaders of Coca-Cola League Two, S****horpe United by 1-0.

League Two is a strangely close Division; beyond the top 4, Yeovil Town, S****horpe United, Swansea City, Southend United (52, 49, 48, 44 points respectively) there is only 9 points seperating Northampton Town in 5th (40 points), and Oxford United in 18th place (31 points).

Mad stuff.

Doesn't take alot to move around that table.

Two go down to the Nationwide Conference however, and they are currently Cambridge United (24th, 17 points), and Kidderminster Harriers (23rd, 18 points), already slightly cut off from Rushden & Diamonds in 22nd place on 24 points.

EDIT: Cannot believe the swear filter takes that out ! Efficient but still ... . Apologies to all Iron fans !

All I can say is thank God for Simon Yeo's last minute winner
Also, quite nice to see Scumthorpe and Boston not winning as well.
