Mmm Alan Smith. I would.
So would Sol Cambell but that's not the point.

Why is Mourhino likely to be let off charges by the FA for his comments? I bet if Arsne Wenger or Alex Ferguson had made those or similar comments, the FA would have had no problem slapping fines on them.

When was the last time Ferguson was charged, he's always saying things like that? He's the one who gets away with it.
True. Well, Wenger would most definitely get charged. Huh, favoritism!

Why did fergie go into the referees room anyway, sunds a bit suspect to me. Okay he is friends with him but blantantly going in the room and having a chat in the middle of a game. What are people to think?

You see, if this happened in a Magistrates' Court where the clerk goes into or is seen to go with them into the consideration room, where the magistrates consider their judgment, the appeal, if there is one, will be quashed on the grounds that not only must justice be done, but justice must also be seen to be done. This has actually happened before, defendant was acquitted. So why can't Fergie wait 'til after the match and sort his team out at half time, which is what it is there for.

Considering this is the first incident that I know of, I would not call it favouritism yet. If there are more blatant let offs in the future then I'll take it from then on. Otherwise if everytime this happened, Chelsea will have favouritism in one situation on one time, then Man Utd, then Arsenal etc.

Looks like Gravesen is going to Madrid. He is a good player no doubt, but I thought that Madrid would have bought someone more superstarry.

Tottenham 0-1 Chelsea, 15:00
This is a more faesable (sp) prediction than what Mark Lawrenceson predicted. Should be an interesting match if both play well.

I've predicted a drew for Liverpool v Man Utd, Bolton v Arsenal and a win for Chelsea at Spurs.

The match at Spurs is going to be quite a match today, expect goals. I think they can even get over the blues for the first time in 11 years or something.

In home League meetings, Tottenham have not managed a maximum over the Blues since the 1-0 success on 22 August 1987.

Expect goals? At both ends? Chelsea have conceded 8 goals in 22 games - that's 1 every 248 minutes (four hours eight minutes) of Premiership football played. It puts them on course for the lowest goals per game conceded ratio ever in English top flight football. Liverpool shipped 16 in 42 games in 1978/79 at 0.38 per game. Arsenal have the best Premiership return of 17 in 38 (0.45). Chelsea's currently is 0.36.
