At least they picked up on the chants from the fans.

"Sing when you're skiing, you only sing when you're skiing, sing when you're skiiiiiiiii-ing, you only sing when you're skiing"

yeah good stuff, I thought on the whole it was a good result. The freekick for their 2nd goal was a bit of joke and totally needless tho the guy did produce a good finish. Thought both our goals were good. Best player for me was Palour. I think we really miss Boateng in the middle and certain the number of times Dorvia gave the ball away in the 1st half was annoying.

In fact generally the 1st half was sceen to pretty awful football by both teams...

So did I but from a fair distance (e.g looking in from a different room), understandable since Gullit did seem to cut down on the length of his dreads.

Indeed...

I see Mourinho has been implying of recent that he is a better manager than Rijkaard.

I wonder if this has anything to do with comments from Eto'o regarding Drogba and co?

Pretty similar comments actually... can't remember the exact quote, but it was something along the lines of...

"As a player I do not compare with Rijkaard, he was excellent and I have 0... as a manager he has won 0 competitions and I have won many"

I think for this fixture Mourinho being outspoken might do him no favours. I'd be more confident if Terry, Lampard and Drogba were definite to play at Barcelona but this is not the case.

Well, slight 'knocks' as they call it. They should be no problems for the Barcelona fixture. Hopefully Chelsea can get a vital away goal, it might count considering how close the Champions League predictions are to call.

Yea... I'm not a fan of away goals myself... They always seem to go against United!

Well, the rule applies to everyone. It means that teams might be tempted to defend more at home and attack more away, don't think the home crowd will be too happy with this.
