The Boro Charlton game was quality. The first half was rubbish, and both teams were shi**. Second half, both teams played better but we absolutely pummelled the Charlton defence. Dean Kiely made some outstanding saves and we had shots cleared off the line. All of Kiely's saves seemed ton be the same, all two foot above and two foot to the left of his head. Anyway, we should have scored 10, and we had 4 strikers on the pitch at one point. We went so attacking that once we'd got the equaliser we had no defence and Charlton scored again. Then we brought Danny Graham on (should've started) and he scored a great goal - brave finish and ended up with blood all over him because of it. An accomplished finish.

Anyway, great game.

18 shots on target compared to 2 for Charlton says it all.

Says something about the difference in finishing quality between the two sides.

Cech was hardly playing his best, though he was still good.

He didn't really have that much to do.
Well played Gerrard, first of many for Chelsea!

Well, I hope that now he's made the mistakes today he won't make them against Barcelona, although when Cech conceded a second goal I don't think that's Barcelona's kinda style.

Trust me, it says a lot more about the quality of Dean Kiely today. Absolutely amazing.

Good goalie, him.
True quality keeper, still ugly enough to rival Luke Chadwick.

Danny Graham scored and then got kicked in the face (while scoring). His first Boro Premiership goal and when it hit the back of the net he was laid out on the floor with blood over his face (that's why, if you've been watching skysportsnews, he's wearing Nemeth's shirt, because his had so much blood on), poor lad, couldn't celebrate it either. Ah well, there'll be plenty more to come. His style of play is a lot like Alan Shearer - just obivously nowhere near as good, but that type of player.

Reminds me of when I collided with the post after rounding the keeper and slotting home, back in the day when I was good...

If he's that good Utd should snap him up when we get Downing in the summer
