Didn't Forlan take about 35+ games to net his first goal for United?

Yeah, but the weekend really belongs to Everton

Arsenal dropped 2 points. We won, Middlesbrough and Charlton played out a draw.. oh, and Liverpool got absolutely hammered in the final!
Really surprised me how long they were able to hang on for..

They didn't get hammered IMO.

I was surprised that Kezman scored. Hopefully this will give him confidence, could well be vital for the return leg for Barcelona.

Chelsea dominated the game from the second minute onwards..

A combination of luck/lack of quality shots prevented Chelsea from striking earlier.

Err.. crikey, was a while ago. Ohyeh! PencilQueen decided to ban me for having a colourful signature, or something like that!

Timmmmmayyyy Cahill, he's gonna be such an important player for us between now and the end of the season. He was fantastic yesterday!

And to think, he nearly joined Palace!

They did and possession was 66% Chelsea, 34% Liverpool after the game had finished.

Luck is involved with everything to be honest. It's about time some luck went to Chelsea's favour because of their previous two games.

Wasn't it 66% to 34% possession in favour of Chelsea?

I know that doesn't tell the whole story but it paints a picture...

Exactly! The quality was there for all to see; so cool in defence, calm in midfield and in the end, deadly when given the chance to strike.

Yes it was, and other stats such as attempts on goal (and on target in the second half) really showed this. I just feel that Liverpool played well.

May be I'm pessimistic or harsh but conceding two goals isn't too cool is it?

I just feel that Liverpool played well.
Only in the respect that they were able to soak up the pressure for 75+ minutes. They were very poor up front, whilst Gerrard had no influence on the game at all.

First goal after 43 seconds, no chance.

Second goal was obstruction on the keeper, so..

Apart from those two instances the defence was under no trouble at all.
