We know who he'd like to play for but it won't happen.
I agree, Sir Alex has to much pride

I heard he really wants to go to Charlton, dont think we want him though.
Yup, linking up with El Karkouri is any players dream.

Spurs keep being linked with him - he would be welcomed back at Spurs and I think if we could get past the wages, he could return to his first club.

And Wenger is strapped for cash and Jose has made his position with Beckham quite clear and Chelsea have enough midfielders. If he does move to the Premiership then he's not likely to win silverware here, same thing happening in Spain now.

Yakubu's coming to Boro apparently. Deal done for £7M.

I'd rather have Bellamy and/or Crouch.

Bellamy is a lairy bugger though, Crouch is good but I'd rather Yakubu... good buy in my opinion. Although now you won't get to start Nemeth so much

Also in the Daily Mirror is the news that Middlesbrough are set to seriously piss-off Newcastle by beating them to the signature of Portsmouth striker Ayegbini Yakubu. While Toon boss Graeme Souness dilly-dallied over whether or not to bid for the Nigerian, Boro wasted no time and have already reached advanced talks with Pompey (advanced talks?) and have also agree a deal with Yakubu's former club Maccabi Tel Aviv, who will get a percentage of the profit when he moves.

That's the only one I can find online, but it's in all the broadsheets as well.

Rumours about Becks coming back to the Premiership. What team is he likely to play for? I I can't see the top 3 buying him.
http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_...445421,00.html

Looks like the only teams that wouldn't want him are the ones that he would want to go to.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article...540708,00.html

perhaps he should head off to Milan.

But if you enjoy the game that much as long as you're earning something you'd want to play surely? Or are these footballers non-existent?

players like that do exist, but I dont think Beckham is one of them, if he was he would join Spurs and accept £10,000p/w
