Excellent. The more we spend the better.
Abramovich will have to leave eventually. I'm not saying it's going to be this season or next, but when he does, a club that has 10 players on 100k a week and about 10 more on around 40k as well as a manager and Chief Exec on about £10M a year is going to find things a little tough.

On the whole Chelsea/money thing, I think the Man Utd fans summed it up best with their chant:

"You're not Chelsea anymore"

Yep. You should splash out on a £30 million striker i.e. buy Diouf from Liverpool please.

I'll give you a tenner for him. Not sure if there's gonna be any more attractive offers than that. =\

But he's a liability! =\

Now that's just crazy (not saying it's not true, but the figure is crazy).

If Adriano comes in, that just writes off Drogba as no way could they play together. That's £24m pissed down the drain within a season.

Maybe if Roman just bought Milan (both Internazionale & AC) it'd work out cheaper than poaching their players one by one.

The club has always been awared of this issue, and things are being done about it. http://portal.telegraph.co.uk/money/...4/cnchel14.xml
It is pretty clear that Roman will stay for a long time, and to me, there are no reasons why he wouldn't. He has even expressed his wish to hand over the club to his son Arkady, if anything bad happens.

as with the 'You're not Chelsea anymore' not sure what u mean =\

Wow Man U demolished Charlton today, it was almost embarrassing to see the gulf in quality. If United had shown the same level of clinical finishing throughout the season they would still be challenging Chelsea - their problem hasn't been either their defence nor creating chances but actually finishing them, they've had a lot of 0-0 draws, and when you look at how many games Chelsea won 1-0, that's ultimately the difference. It's elementary talking about what could have been at this point of the season, but I don't really think the points gap between the 2 reflects the difference in quality, merely the surprising lack of the final finish on United's side for much of the season.
