It's not just him though - their all round play isn't as good anyway.

How could Spurs draw 2-2 with them in league yet they play far better and beat Chelsea in Champs League?

Why do they treat Euro as more important than domestic competitions?

Maybe they play best against the odds..there are millions of possible reasons. Baros definitely play better in European football as he could use his pace.

Ouch! Bitter Chelsea fans? :rolleyes:

But to be serious, there was a lot of talk from both sets of fans, and the game was never going to be goals galore. Perhaps this was as far as Chelsea were going to get, but we can all agree that Liverpool have surpassed all expectations. To go through at the Kop must have been amazing, and I'm annoyed I couldn't scrape enough money together to get a ticket.

But yeh. Chelsea got their Carlin Cup by an unfortunate goal, perhaps it's just karma that Liverpool won it this way. But we can be fairly sure that Cech would have been off, a penalty given, and Chelsea down to 10 men - without a math-fit goalkeeper.

Still, I give credit to Chelsea for the Championship, and have nothing but admiration for them on the pitch. But this is Liverpool's moment

No - it's just their work rate and general play is greater in Euro games.
