I've fallen from 6th to 7th. Not on here half as often as I used to be.

Which is hard for you all to accept, I know, but I have other people in my life now.

I'm sad too. But I can actually touch these people. They are real. You are not. You're just tricks that my imagination plays on me from time to time.

Good riddance, I say.

Surely he won't be first team at Liverpool unless they play 4-5-1 and leave out either Cisse or Morientes...

if parker was to be first team then itll be either him, and no third striker this summer. I think maybe 3-5-2 aswell, but thats in europe though. Plus with didi signing on we dont need parker.

Hamman isn't a long term solution though, I reckon Parker would be a great signing for both Everton and Liverpool.

He might want to get Parker in now so he can learn from Didi before he leaves next summer or the one after

My sentiments exactly!

Liverpool aren't in for Parker. Just usual newspaper talk.

Good point.

Rafa wants better. Neither Riise or Garcia are natural wingers, but they did their jobs last season. I'd prefer Garcia in the whole (a la Madrid) and perhaps seeing Riise dropped back to LB. Then we'd own.

And I don't know what all this 3-5-2 is about. We only used it agaisnt Milan because we were 3-0 down, and if we didn't score soon we would have been pulverised. Plus Finnan was injured and we didn't have defensive options on the bench. Rafa's preferred system has always been 4-5-1. Some may call it negative, but it works in Europe, and does here too. Refer to Chelsea for that one.

As for Parker, I'm not too sure. He's not a natural DM, unlike Didi, and that's what we need. There's not point having 3 box-to-boxers. He was a good player (for Charlton was it?) but has since started all of 7 games in 2 years. Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. Personally, I'd want a specialist, disciplined, intelligent DM if not this season then the next - in the mould of Didi. Hamann will be fine for this coming season - has plenty left in the tank and is still in the German squad. However the Kaiser will know that it will be time to call it a day at some point. I'd renew his contract, give him an extension of 2 years, to give him another good season here, followed by the blooding in of another player. If not because he can still do a job for us, but also because he's a kop favourite, big game player and he's Didi Hamann... (let's be havin' yer!)
