Being taken for granted...

Ive been with my boyf 3 1/2 years and love him to bits, but i feel at the mo he is taking me for granted abit. He is'nt here as often as i'd like coz he's a Royal Marine, and everytime he comes home, i say i will see him etc basically planning around him, as we wont see eachother for awhile. I know this will change once im at uni, as it will be harder for us to see eachother. I know he loves me loads, and that is'nt the issue, its just he never suggests anything for us to do as a couple! he is going away for a week with his family (fair enough) and going away for 5 days with his mates, which is also ok, but why has'nt he suggested anything to do with me?! Its always me suggesting things!! Grr, so im just feeling frustrated. Can anyone suggest anything that will kick him into gear? I feel better now i have got that off my chest :biggrin:

You really think he'll have sat there planning a week away with his family but not with his girlfriend? Also his mates, if he's the one that's been away and they haven't? It's more than likely they all asked him, and he hasn't suggested to do anything with you because he's going to be away for two weeks so won't see you for ages yet... I wouldn't say it was much to worry about really. He's in high demand because no one gets to see him. :p:

Don't let it spoil your relationship by forcing him to invite you somewhere if he actually can't... you invite him somewhere, get in there before the rest of them. :p:

i felt like this with my x boyfriend that he had no time 4 me when he come back from been in the army! but u got get in there 1st so get planning n then nx time he will come to you.
