Could you not post your queries here, since you've made a thread on it, as for helping you learn i'm afraid I'm not a teacher, why don't you find out of there are any courses available on it?

well yeah sure, imean can you atleast teach me all the basics, i.e. how to greet, to say your name, to say your age, to 'flex' with the people, etc.

and as for courses, i dont think spanish is a top subject here m8

Basic Italian

Ciao (Chao)- Hello
Mi Chaimo ... (Me Kiamo ...)- My name is ...
Sono ... ani (Sonn O ... Ann E)- I am ... years old
Dovi habiti? (Do V abit ti?)- Where do you live?
Io habito a engleterra (E O abit O a Ingiltaira)- I live in the Uk
Dove ... (Do V)- Where is ...

Spanish and Italian are very similar so some pharses people would be able understand what you are saying in either language.

I HAVE ALSO POSTED HOW YOU PRONOUCE THEM IN THE BRACKETS - IT MIGHT BE ABIT CONFUSING.

Hope it helped you!!

Ps, if you need any more just post what you need translating.

Hey Maximusmak,

I am studying both Spanish and Italian at A Level. I have been learning Spanish for nearly 3 years and Italian for nearly 2 years now, but have followed them both intensively so I will hopefully be able to help you nevertheless. I can see that some other people have already replied (including you Emily! lol), but if you still require any help feel free to ask me anyway.

OK, cheers mate,

Jordan

I speak Italian, not fluently though. I want to learn Japanese as well. I would love to live in Italy and Japan one day.

Sorry but I just felt like I had to correct you!:

Mi chiamo..... - My name is......
Sono.....anni - I'm......years old
Dovè abiti? - Where do you live?
Abito all'Inghilterra - I live in the UK
Dovè.... - Where is.....

SORRY! I must have OCD because I just like things to be neat and tidy!

yeah, that will be excellent, u see i aint usually on this a lot so if u have msn itll be easier to chat, thats if u want it that way. u can post via private msn ur mail if u want. or if u dont then can u tell me any useful phrases, which are relatively easy to learn.

thanks
