Revising Quotations for Critical Essays

Hey guys, the English exam is coming up soon, and I need some help revising quotations for my Critical Essays.

So I have two texts to memorise quotes for, but I'm not sure if I will be able to memorise 50+ quotations. Has anybody got any suggestions on what quotations to learn. E.g. Learn 4 quotes about the main character etc...

If it helps anybody, I'm doing Macbeth and The Cone Gatherers.

I've been learning lots of short quotes (2/3 words) that may be used for a few themes. It's also been helpful learning 10 at a time and spending each night re-writing as many as I can remember! So far I know about 70 from 2 plays, but still am yet to begin learning my poetry, eek! Good luck!
