edexcel physics revision!!

if your doing edexcel physics AS AND A2. we can go through each past paper and everyone has to post a model answer for each question as well as discuss each question in depth till we ALL understand it. Practise is the best form of revision. this will be fun and useful for us and many other students in the future. I got an A in AS and aiming for an A* this year so please everyone participate in my little project for the people.

However it is not C because top number is number of nucleons (atomic mass number) and bottom number is number of protons therefore 60 nucleons - 28 protons = 32 neutrons. therefore answer C is eliminated.

ANSWER IS C, The size of the force on a charged particle moving in a magnetic field depends on:

the charge on the particle

the speed of the particle

the strength of the magnetic field.

For a charge Q moving with velocity v, the equivalent of (current × length) is (charge × velocity) or Qv.
KEY POINT - A charge Q moving with velocity v perpendicular to a magnetic field experiences a force: F = BQv
