Hello! I would be very grateful if you could please help make make my final decision regarding my application to a foundation course starting in September 2014.

So far, I have offers from:

-Ravensbourne: it used to be my first choice, but now I'm a bit hesitant as it appears too be very "digitally based". The building is gorgeous and I really like the London location its in.

-Arts University Bournemouth: I love the feel of the campus but Bournemouth is soo far away from everything.

-Oxford Brookes: I really like the location and the course seems to be great but my only concern is that it is not an "arts-only" university and I feel as if I won´t be getting the full "art experience".

-UCA Epsom: I liked the installations when I visited the university on the Open Day. However, I didn't really like the town, as it is a bit "dead".

-London College of Communication: I like the fact that it is part of UAL and is in London. The only downside is that it is very media/graphics based, and although it is the area I am intending to specialise later on in the future, I'm not too sure if I want to do my foundation at a place that is already very specialised in a certain area.

So, what do you think? Which one would you recommend? I would really appreciate any comments/suggestions as I feel quite lost and confused.

Thank you so much!

I don't know whether you've seen this interesting blog post about the Oxford Brookes foundation course http://ebrannanwilliams.blogspot.co....gn-part-2.html? (though this person did fine art)

Friend went to Ravensbourne I heard bad things that it was all very similar student work, they push you for industry more than creative expression apparently don't take my word!

AUB seems nice I think they are a well rounded uni and the course seemed cool when I looked at it..
Oxford brookes same, I didn't research into them too much..

Friend went to UCA epsom, found tutors useful and interesting course, that was more in illustrative/fashion side so not sure about graphics but I think it is generally a good course..

Friends went to LCC, and on degree there, it is graphic media based but very diverse in regard to materials so it won't feel like a restrictive 'graphics' course, loads of facilities and good library, nice building and ginny weasley went there!

((Just fyi CCW the camberwell chelsea wimbledon was a pretty good foundation, very diverse and did help me narrow down my options but learn a lot about other specialism techniques))

London College of Communications is the most renowned and probably the best place to go, however Oxford Brookes is becoming increasingly popular for arts.
