I'm currently in the process of losing weight. Got down to 9st 1.5lbs (128.5lbs) and I'm not sure how much further I want to go down that I would be happy maintaining that weight forever. I know it isn't very scientific, just looking for an average ish weight for girls of my height! Thanks

Using a BMI calculator from NHS it gives you a BMI of 20.6 which is well into the BMI healthy range of between 18.5 to 25, which is between 8st 3lbs and 11st 2lbs for this height.
If I wad you I would probably do more resistance work and try to gain muscle definition instead of focussing on losing weight and doing a lot of cardio as I would not want to lose any more weight and look too skinny.

you wont get an average weight from asking on a forum, once a few girls have posted they weigh 8 - 8st7 none of the heavier girls will reply... also depends a lot on your age, and different weights look different on different people, I know girls who weigh a similar amount to be but look bigger

personally I'm 5'5 and I think around 9st10-10st? 36.5-24.5-38.5, size 8-10 and I think I'm quite 'average'

I'm about 5'6 and weigh 8 and a half stone.
I weigh approximately 108lbs. I do have a small frame though, and evidently the average is quite a bit higher.

You sound more or less an ideal weight as it is. Perhaps try toning rather than losing now?

It took me 3 months to lose a stone but it could definitely be done faster, I just like my food. Losing weight is entirely a game of numbers. I couldn't of done it without a website called myfitnesspal, it tells you exactly how many calories to eat based on your weight, height and goals and I use it to log the calories in everything I eat! Hope this helps!

If you don't mind me asking, do you find it easy to maintain this weight? How much do you eat/ workout?

Thanks! Yeah I've had myfitnesspal for about 2 years, I could go weeks logging in but once I slip up its a downward spiral and then I say 'oh I'll eat better next time' thus starting the cycle again. But thanks for replying! I'll lose the weight this year. And Well done!
I'm 5"7/5"8 and 9 and a half stone

Used to be 10 and a half, but gradually lost weight
