I'm doing my Antony and Cleopatra coursework and my teacher has asked me to develop my point on Cleopatra being viewed as a goddess but I'm finding it difficult to locate quotes which depict Cleopatra as "divine". At the moment I've written about Enobarbus describing her as Venus and Caesar likening her to Isis. I'm thinking about adding the quote which tells of Cleopatra sitting upon a burnished throne but I'm not sure if that's relevant? Can anyone help?
