Hi guys!

Just over two weeks until the English exam and I am seriously panicking!! I'm studying A Streetcar Named Desire and Gatsby as my texts. My problem is that I barely know anything for Gatsby and I am seriously worried. I know this is my own fault but I'm wondering if anyone can give me any tips on how to study for this text in the short period of time!

Thanks in advance!

What Ive done is read all the past paper questions, then re read my play and wrote down any quote that can fit with possible questions/has techniques in it, then learned all of these.
For Gatsby I have pretty much done the same, I made loads of notes on Gatsby, Gatsby&Daisys relationship, the key incident, the incident which they meet, narrative, symbolism, setting, theme and I am currently trying to learn these. The links I put are pretty useful and should get you started.

you will need to know the basic understanding of you text, so for Gatsby, it is not a love story, it is about the corruption of the american dream, and illusion v reality. i heard rumours this year that there will be a question on an interesting female character, wether it is true or not no one will know until the 1st, but it would be a great question for daisy. "the kings daughter, the golden girl"

Where did you hear that? I didn't really think they'd narrow it down to male or female in the questions?
