Its not what you want to hear as it hurts when you go to the toilet but drink lots and lots of water. If you drink alot it will help flush the infection out.

Go to the doctor anyway. You don't want to end up with a kidney infection that could potentially be very dangerous. Don't risk it.

Cranberries/ blue berries, drink lots of water, avoid alcohol, caffeine, and carbonated drinks and urinate frequently

Check your temperature twice daily. Fever may indicate a more serious infection

drink lots of water to flush it through it does work!!!

It may be too late for cranberry juice. Cranberry juice helps prevent bacteria sticking to the lining of your bladder, and by the sound of it you already have an infection.
Drink as much water as you can stomach, take the powder stuff suggested above (sodium citrate i think) and go to the Drs, you may need antibiotics.

i'm going to the doc's on monday

it's abit impossible at the moment since they are shut tho... lol

edit: it only started yesterday, nhs direct said most clear up within 2 days by themselves, so i don't really wanna go abusing the antibiotics just yet either... see what the doc says on monday if it hasnt gone by then
