Hello,
Quick question:
In order to amend or introduce a constitutional law in the UK does there have to be a referendum or is it just common for it to be?
e.g. Referendum on Devolution, AV and the Scottish one coming up.

Please give a source with your answer.
Cheers

We have no written constitution. Hence it can't be amended because it doesn't exist.
