asking ex-schoolmate out?!?

hey there, just quick problem i have at mo and would really appreciate advice. a girl i used to go 2 junior skl with, lives 2 blocks away from me and i saw her about 2 weeks ago. Anyway, we used to be like best mates and known each other since the age of like 3. anyway, we have really similar personalities including music and sport. A friend of mine went to an amateur play put on by a college and she was in it, it also gave details of her in the programme including a link to her myspace. Anyway I went on it and she is now an actress and a model, whilst I have just finished school and am going to uni for law in September. I really like her and normally it would be easier to ask a girl out but I don’t wnna walk up 2 her and say “hi, aint seen u in 7 yrs…let’s go out” coz it sounds a bit odd. I was hoping to get some advice on my course of action as I have been told (which is actually quite fair) that I have like a 5% chance with her coz she is welllllll fit. Anyway any advice would b much appreciated. Thanks.

maybe ask her for a drink or something then you two can perhaps catch up and go from there

I'd get to know her first if i were you. Ask to meet up casually so you can catch up again as you havent seen each other for long and than take it from there.

just don't become to friendlike with her otherwise she won't see you in any other way.

Tell her you were given her myspace link by a friend, add her and message saying hi. Then maybe suggest catching up sometime... " I go to this bar regularly, fancy meeting up if you're ever around?". Simple. :biggrin:
