I'm trying to find month by month breakdowns of official crime statistics (prosecuted crimes) for the USA and UK from 2001 onwards? Any ideas where they would be?

For the UK

http://www.statistics.gov.uk/hub/cri...ice/index.html

https://www.gov.uk/government/collec...ice-statistics

For the USA

http://www.bjs.gov/

However bear in mind that there are academics who spend their entire careers trying to make sense of these statistics.

There are enormous differences in the way in which different jurisdiction collect data and in the quality of the data collected.
